I didn’t understand that reference at first so I looked it up and apparently there were fifty-seven academics who theorized that Shakespeare was gay/bisexual.
Also, sonnet 57 is supposed to be about a guy that Shakespeare was in love with.
The Doctor remarks at one point in this episode that a skull looks like that of a Sycorax. Shakespeare claims he’s using that word, as he likes it. There is a Shakespeare character called Sycorax. #researchpayskids
Day fifteen: Which regeneration of the Doctor would you most like to meet and why?
The Eighth Doctor! I just love his personality so much. His absolute wonder and fascination can make you smile just by hearing it in the way he speaks. He loves to get his companions to think. He seems to really value and appreciate their input, and encourages them to come to conclusions on their own, without his help, because he knows they’re clever enough to do so. From humans, to a Eutermesan, to a Oblivioner, to an Ice Warrior, the Eighth Doctor makes friends easily and without prejudice. There are so many reasons why I love him, and I can’t figure out a way to put some of them into words, but… He just loves so earnestly and cares so much about the things and people that are important to him, and I really admire that.
